The course shall extend over a period of three years comprising of six semesters with two semesters in one academic year. There shall not be less than 90 working days for each semester. Examination shall be conducted at the end of every semester for respective subjects.

A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto with Tamil and all of the subjects.
